55 American helicopters make a stopover at Eindhoven Air Base

From November 20 to December 15, 2023, a total of 55 American transport and attack helicopters will make a stopover at Eindhoven Air Base.

The transport and attack helicopters come from Germany, Latvia and Poland. After the stopover at Eindhoven Air Base, they fly on to Vlissingen. There the helicopters are dismantled and transported by ship to the United States.

Only during the day
The helicopter flights only take place on working days and during the day. Exact times, dates and numbers are not communicated in advance, Defense said.
