Advent calendar ‘for and by Meerhoven’

Residents’ Association Meerhoven released the advent calendar ‘for and by Meerhoven’ this week. Mayor Jorritsma kicked off December 1, 2020.

The year 2020 is a special year in which everyone has been affected by the corona crisis. Also in Meerhoven, schools, the hospitality industry and sports clubs closed their doors, associations ceased their activities and various agencies worked overtime to help others. With the advent calendar ‘for and by Meerhoven’, the association would like to put them in the spotlight and also maintain the connection in the district. Mayor Jorritsma ‘opened’ the calendar today with a video message for all Meerhoven residents. See video below.

Newsletter
The advent calendar was delivered around December 1, 2020 together with the December edition of the newsletter of Residents’ Association Meerhoven to all households in Meerhoven without a no-no sticker. Residents who have not received the advent calendar and newsletter can pick them up at Albert Heijn, Lidl, Jumbo and De Hangar in Meerhoven. The newsletter is also available digitally, both in Dutch and in English.
