Air Force exercises for two weeks from Eindhoven Air Base

From Monday, April 12 through Friday, April 23, 2021, the exercise ‘Orange Bull’ will take place. Two waves per day will be flown over The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany with two C-130 Hercules transport aircraft from Eindhoven Air Base.

Orange Bull is an exercise in which, among others, the 336 squadron of the Royal Netherlands Air Force, 11 Airmobile Brigade, the Commandos Corps and the Marine Corps will participate.

Flights
The wavetimes are from 2.30 till 5.30 pm and from 9.00 pm till midnight. On Friday, flights will be conducted until 11.00 pm. Saturday only the first wave will be flown. No flights will take place on Sunday.

Program
During the exercise the pilots will fly at a low altitude and they can use Night Vision Goggles during the evening flights. During Orange Bull the dropping of paratroopers and cargo is practiced. For pilots, this exercise is an important preparation for the MINUSMA mission in Mali at the end of this year.
