Exercise ‘Orange Bull’ will take place from Monday 5 to Friday 16 December 2022. During the exercise, C-130 Hercules transport aircraft will fly from Eindhoven Air Base to exercise locations in the Netherlands and Belgium. Local residents may experience noise nuisance during the exercise days.

Orange Bull is an exercise in which, among others, the 336 squadron of the Royal Netherlands Air Force, 11 Airmobile Brigade, the Commando Troops Corps and the Marine Corps take part.

The planes take off from Eindhoven Air Base and fly three flights a day, between 9 and 11 am, 1 and 4 pm and 7 and 10 pm. There are no exercises on weekends. The flight planning depends, among other things, on the course of the exercise and weather conditions at the locations.

Low altitude
The practice locations in the Netherlands are Marnewaard, Ginkelse Heide, Wamel and Regte Heide. In Belgium they practice in Weelde, Bertrix, Hechtel and Chievre. During the exercise, the aircraft is flown at a low altitude and, among other things, the dropping of paratroopers and cargo is practiced.
