Bats walk

Friday evening, September 30, 2022, Park Meerland Management Foundation, in collaboration with IVN Nature Education, is organizing a bat walk for adults and children from 8 years old.

Meerhoven residents who want to learn something about the nightlife of a bat can look forward to an exciting evening. During the walk bat experts Martien van de Ven and Anita Liebregts will tell you all about bats. Liebregts: “With a bat detector we detect different types of bats. Some children can even hear them. This walk is only for the real enthusiasts who are not afraid of bats!”

Time and location
The walk starts at 8 pm and lasts until approximately 10 pm. Start and end point of the walk at De Hangar, Meerbos 4 in Meerhoven. Participation is free. Children must be at least 8 years old and accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration is not necessary. In case of bad weather (heavy rainfall) the walk will be canceled.
