Bats walk

On Friday 31 August 2018, Anita Liebregts organizes a bat walk for adults and children aged 8 and over in cooperation with the Bat Workgroup North Brabant.

Meerhoven residents who want to learn something about the nightlife of a bat can look forward to an exciting evening on August 31st. Initiator Anita Liebregts: “We go out in the dark with bat expert (Batman) Leo Klok. He will tell us everything about bats. We use a bat detector to track down different types of bats, some children can even hear them. This walk is only for real lovers who are not afraid of bats!”

Time and location
The walk starts at 20.00 and lasts until about 22.00. Start and end of the walk is the square at De Hangar, Meerbos 4 in Meerhoven. Participation is free. Children must be at least 8 years old and accompanied by an adult.

Those wishing to participate in the walk must register via anitaliebregts@hotmail.com. In bad weather (heavy rainfall) the walk will be cancelled.
