Best surprised about ‘airport parking’ at Makro

It was suddenly there, unannounced. A parking area for passengers from Eindhoven Airport at the Makro in Best.

The residents of Best were already used to the dozens of people who park their cars for free at the Park & Ride at the train station and then travel by bus 20 to Eindhoven Airport. But now a second parking lot has suddenly been added, namely at wholesale Makro at the Brem.

Parking around Eindhoven Airport causes more problems in the area. For example, residents of the Meerhoven district complain bitterly about cars that are being left there and passengers who are walking towards the airport with their wheel bags. The hope is that this nuisance will decrease now that the parking garage at Eindhoven Airport has been put into use with a delay (due to the collapse).
