Watch live with placement of bicycle bridge ‘Tegenbosch’ over A2
The 160-meter-long bicycle bridge ‘Tegenbosch’ over the A2 and N2, just south of the Anthony Fokkerweg in Eindhoven, will be placed in the night of 29 to 30 August 2020. As a result, several roads were closed that weekend.
For example, the N2 and A2 are closed from Saturday evening 10 pm to Sunday morning 8 am. This concerns the north side from the Batadorp junction and the south side from the Leenderheide junction. The Anthony Fokkerweg, from the Oirschotsedijk to the Beatrix Canal, will also be closed around the same time. In addition, exit 29 Eindhoven-Airport of the N2 from the south to Anthony Fokkerweg will be closed from 28 August 9 pm to 31 August 5 am. Diversions indicate how people can still reach their destination, such as Eindhoven Airport.
Watch live
Interested parties can watch live on 29 August from approximately 22.00 hours with the ‘entry’ of the bicycle bridge. This can be done via the website of the municipality of Eindhoven and also via Facebook, Instagram en Youtube. It is also possible to admire the placement in real life. The public is welcome on the Anthony Fokkerweg viaduct, which is closed to traffic from 20.00 hours. Parking is possible at Flight Forum or Rijtackers crematorium. Please note: always keep a minimum distance of 1.5 meters (unless you belong to the same household). Do you have a cold or fever? Then stay at home.
