A lot of work is being done on the road in Eindhoven Northwest. This is done to improve the traffic flow and accessibility of the Anthony Fokkerweg, Eindhoven Airport, Flight Forum and Brainport Industries Campus, among others. The work is nearing its end. To this end, the Anthony Fokkerweg viaduct over the A2/N2 must be completely closed off. The activities are carried out in two phases.

First phase: 30 October to 6 November
During the first phase (30 November 9 pm to 6 November 2020 9 pm) the viaduct will be given a new lane layout and the cycle path will be removed. It is then not possible to drive from Eindhoven Noord/GDC towards Eindhoven Airport/Flight Forum and vice versa. It is possible to drive from Eindhoven Noord/GDC onto the N2 in the direction of Tilburg/’s-Hertogenbosch. Coming from the N2 Maastricht/Venlo it is not possible to drive in the direction of Eindhoven Airport/Flight Forum. Coming from the N2 Tilburg/’s-Hertogenbosch it is also not possible to drive in the direction of Eindhoven Noord/GDC. Diversion routes are set up. See the map at the bottom of this article.

Second phase: 6 to 9 November
During the second phase (6 November 9 pm to Monday 9 November 2020 5 am), the intersection on the Eindhoven Noord/GDC side will be redesigned and paved. New traffic lights will also be installed. In addition to the completion of the first phase, it will no longer be possible to drive from Eindhoven Noord/GDC in the direction of Tilburg/’s-Hertogenbosch. Coming from the N2 Maastricht/Venlo it is therefore not possible to drive in the direction of Eindhoven Noord/GDC. Diversion routes are set up. See the map at the bottom of this article.
