Creative plans sought for residential tower in park Meerland

The municipality of Eindhoven will put one of the last development sites for housing in Meerhoven on the market. The location is on the edge of Park Meerland near the temporary parking lot at the Zandstrand. It concerns a residential tower of up to 45 meters in height.

The residential site is part of the zoning plan ‘Meerland 2020’. The municipality is asking market parties to submit plans. The plans will be tested against various selection criteria, including sustainability, spatial quality, program and land price. It concerns up to 60 apartments in a residential tower of up to 45 meters (about 15 floors) with an underground parking garage. The municipality will announce the final winner in the first quarter of 2024.
