Eindhoven Airport can expand terminal, province provides 55 million loan

Eindhoven Airport can expand and improve its terminal. With the necessary headwinds from opposition parties, the Provincial Council agreed with a generous majority on Friday July 15, 2022 to provide a loan of 55 million euros.

The larger terminal has nothing to do with the growth in the number of flights and travelers, Commissioner Suzanne Otters (VVD) emphasized once again, because firm agreements have been made about this. The hall is simply too small for the current number of passengers and therefore of insufficient quality. The opposition came with a lot of reservations and criticism.
