Schiphol and the regional airports, including Eindhoven Airport, need not fear that they will have to cancel flights in the short term because they do not have a permit under the Nature Protection Act.

But they also cannot breathe, because it is possible that an intervention will follow after a long legal procedure. That is the state of affairs described by Dr. Johan Wolfswinkel, professor of administrative law at Tilburg University.
