The intended location for a new police facility in Meerhoven is in principle suitable despite concerns in the neighbourhood, especially about traffic and parking problems. That is the conclusion of alderman Yasin Torunoglu. And although the consultation with a delegation from the neighbourhood was not optimal, he does not intend to postpone a decision on the arrival of the police force any longer.
The Eindhoven Board of Mayor and Alderman will therefore soon choose the location at Meerhovendreef/Sliffertsestraat. We are concluding the feasibility phase and will make a decision this month”, the alderman said on Tuesday evening, May 25, 2021 in the city council.
