Eindhoven explores social cohesion during Dutch Design Week
The city of Eindhoven is once again organizing an in-depth program during Dutch Design Week that will take place mid October. This year’s theme focuses on the city’s growth and its impact on social cohesion. The program will be based on preliminary research centered around conversations with residents.
Between August 28 and September 4, 2024, a spatial installation will be set up in the neighbourhoods of Meerhoven and Erp. Here, residents can engage with designers to discuss how they connect with each other and share their desires for new social interactions within their community. In Meerhoven this concerns the following days and times: Wednesday, August 28 from 2 to 6 pm, Thursday, August 29 from 4 to 8 pm and Friday, August 30 from 2 to 6 pm. Location: Meerplein, Shopping Center Meerhoven. The findings from this research will form the foundation of the Dutch Design Week program.
