Eindhoven launches offensive against creative parking companies at Airport
Eindhoven has launched a new offensive against companies around Eindhoven Airport that creatively circumvent the ban on renting out parking spaces to travelers. The first target is a company that rents out lockers and workplaces in combination with a parking space.
The Lock & Fly company on Luchthavenweg, within walking distance of the airport, is facing a penalty because the municipality is of the opinion that the revenue model is entirely based on parking. The municipality is demanding that the company stop offering air passengers.
Lock & Fly is surprised by the actions taken by the municipality. The company has been left untouched for seven years and the director thinks the municipality has a different motive.
