After years of haggling, a lawsuit, corona delay and an entrepreneurial dream that was shattered, there is now finally a catering facility in Park Meerland.

The regular clientele has been there from the very beginning: local residents, walkers and cyclists have been making grateful use of it since this spring. The objections from the neighbourhood have been silenced; even the summer lounge program with soft music has not been objected to. The menu has a surprising Meerhoven touch. The cakes are baked by the owner’s mother-in-law, who lives nearby.
