Tuesday, April 7, 2020 a fire raged briefly in a house on the Zandhaai in Meerhoven.

The cause was a barbecue that had caught fire because it was not properly extinguished. This has caused considerable damage on the roof terrace of the house. The fire brigade quickly controlled the fire, so that the fire did not spread inside.
