Group of 40 asylum seekers from Someren temporarily moved to Novotel in Eindhoven
A group of forty asylum seekers who have already moved several times within the region will be given temporary shelter in the Novotel in Eindhoven from Tuesday 28 February 2023. The refugees can stay there for at least a month and possibly a little longer.
The group of asylum seekers spent the past few months in group accommodation De Hoof in Someren. The crisis emergency shelter for refugees there came to an end on Tuesday. The COA takes care of the asylum seekers in Novotel at Eindhoven Airport, including security and, if possible, daytime activities. Arrangements have been made with the hotel regarding the provision of meals. Residents’ organizations and entrepreneurs in the area have been personally informed. They responded with understanding, according to the municipality.
