High flyers wanted for the Great High Flyers Day

On Saturday April 25, 2020, the “Big High Flyers Day” will take place at Eindhoven Air Base.

Handicapped or seriously ill children from 6 to 17 years old can sit behind the control stick of an aircraft that day, view fire engines from the airbase, take a ride in a truck and participate in all sorts of other activities. Lunch and drinks are also provided.

High Flyers Foundation
The day is an initiative of the High Flyers Foundation. The foundation flies with sick and disabled children, all year round and from every airport in The Netherlands. Pilots, including professional pilots, make their leisure time and aircraft available for this.

Handicapped or seriously ill children from the region, who have not previously participated in a high flyer day, can register on the website of the High Flyers Foundation (in Dutch), under the heading “hoogvlieger worden” (“become high flyer”). Participation is free.
