Historical tour of Eindhoven Air Base
This year, the South of the Netherlands celebrates and commemorates 80 years of freedom. Eindhoven Air Base is therefore opening its doors. On Tuesday, September 10 and Wednesday, September 11, 2024, the Air Force will organize a tour by bus along historic sites on the air base and beyond. Registration is required.
During the tour you will hear everything about the origins of the airport and its takeover by the Germans during the Second World War. The traces of this period are still visible. You will also visit the Falcon Leap exercise. Every year, various transport aircraft from both the air force and NATO partners come to Eindhoven for this exercise.
Program
The program lasts from 9.30 am to 3 pm. The tour starts and ends at the arrival and departure hall of Eindhoven Air Base. You will receive a special lunch that matches the theme of the tour.
Register
There is limited space. Only visitors who register via the registration form can participate in the tour. You also need a valid ID for this.
