Improvement bicycle crossings Meerhoven

On 30 April 2018, the municipality will start improving various bicycle crossings in Meerhoven. It is mainly about adjusting the road marking. Depending on the weather, the work takes one to two weeks

Block marking is applied to various bicycle crossings in Meerhoven. Block marking indicates that there is a crossing for both the cyclist and the intersecting (motorized) traffic in which cyclists have priority over the crossing. This marking is still missing at a number of locations in Meerhoven. In the case of other bicycle crossings, the block mark is replaced by other lines because bicycle traffic does not have a priority there. Furthermore, various small adjustments are made, such as the removal of poles.
