Living in ‘Het Bosbad’ in Meerhoven

At the end of 2020, the construction of ‘Het Bosbad’ is expected start on the outskirts of Meerhoven: 20 luxurious, sustainable apartments in a wooded setting. There are still a few apartments available.

Earlier this year, KIKX Development from Rotterdam won the design competition ‘Living in a sculpture garden, cluster 1’ of the municipality of Eindhoven. The design ‘Het Bosbad’ was not only appreciated by the jury, but also by many of the residents who were able to advise on the plans. The jury was particularly pleased with the strong integration between landscape, urban development and architecture.

Bosrijk
The project is being realized in Bosrijk near Zandkasteel and Sliffertsestraat. Bosrijk is in full development. Sustainability, spatial quality and high-profile architecture play an important role in this. The existing landscape is the starting point for the building development. Living in the landscape is designed as ‘statues in a sculpture garden’. The space around the houses is in fact the garden of the residents of Bosrijk.

Het Bosbad
Het Bosbad consists of 20 luxury apartments of 95 to 140m² in a wooded setting. Brigitte Veer of KIKX Development: “The apartments are particularly sustainable and offer a lot of light and space. In addition, each apartment has its own parking space in the semi-sunken parking garage. The building is designed in a balanced way with natural materials, built in a human and environmentally friendly manner and closely connected with the wooded parkland. The building is slightly elevated in the landscape by the semi-recessed parking garage incorporated into the landscape.”

Sale
The sale of Het Bosbad has already started. Currently, there are still a few apartments available: spacious 4 and 5-room apartments with a spacious balcony terrace that runs almost around the entire house. Construction is expected to start at the end of 2020. Completion is expected in 2021.
