Living in Meerhoven
Meerhoven consists of five characteristic neighbourhoods: Bosrijk, Grasrijk, Meerrijk, Waterrijk and Zandrijk. Each neighborhood has its specific urban design characteristics. The Meerland park is the green heart of Meerhoven. The park won the Dirk Roosenburg Jury and Public Award in 2011 and is positively judged because of its enormous size, its connecting character and the meeting place it offers to the residents.
Dynamics of the city
Meerhoven is a quiet neighbourhood where people know each other and where you do not have to miss the dynamics of the city. This makes Meerhoven a popular place to live. With public transport you are within approx. 20 minutes in the heart of Eindhoven. By bike, the center is also easily accessible thanks to the good cycling routes. With a good connection to the A2 and Eindhoven Airport nearbij, other European cities are easy to reach from Meerhoven.
Close to home
After the start of construction in 1999, Meerhoven is now a young adult residential area with all the amenities that you need as a resident; close to home, such as the Meerhoven shopping center, catering, sports facilities for all ages and social services such as education, childcare and medical care.
