Longer late landings at Eindhoven Airport

Against the will of the minister, planes will still arrive next year after 11 pm at Eindhoven Airport. The airport relies on European rules that make it impossible to close the airport earlier every day.

Minister Cora van Nieuwenhuizen (Infrastructure, VVD) had said it this way: no more late landings at Eindhoven Airport from the summer of next year. But her aim is not feasible, the airport says now. And so from now on, at least one more year will continue to be flown between eleven and half past eleven in the evening. The airport announced this on Monday.
