Market stall in Eindhoven soon literally around the corner, new set-up with fishmonger and food trucks in the neighbourhoods

A pizza van, a greengrocer or a fish stall, they will soon be able to rent a pitch in Eindhoven at one of the city’s community centres. The municipality will soon present a proposal to make this possible. Twenty locations are being considered, including Flight Forum in Meerhoven.

The new flexible pitches are part of a new set-up for street trading in Eindhoven. There will also be changes for the weekly markets, because the enthusiasm among merchants for these has been declining for a few years. In 2016, there were still more than 300 stalls spread across the nine weekly markets and in 2020 there will only be 240.
