Meerhoven walks again: ‘No punishment with this beautiful weather’

Participants in the four-day walk in Meerhoven are lucky. With glorious weather, a park in full bloom, a tight organization and over 350 enthusiastic walkers, all the ingredients for a successful walking feast are present.

Never before in the evenings has it been so busy at restaurant Mrs. Park, home of the Meerhoven four-day walking event that concludes Thursday. “Fantastic to be able to organize this walking event again after three years. And that at such a beautiful place with a beautiful park within reach,” says Geert van Buul, one of the ten volunteers organizing the event.
