Due to the 10th anniversary of Residents’ Association Meerhoven, we are organizing a members day at Zoo Veldhoven on Sunday, June 30, 2024.

During the members day you can go to Zoo Veldhoven with the entire family at the greatly reduced rate of €8.50 per person (normally €16). This includes a free bag of food for the parrots (normally €1) and a free drink for yourself. Admission for children up to 2 years old is free. For enthusiasts, there is a free tour with an experienced guide (normally €25 per group).

Zoo Veldhoven
Zoo Veldhoven houses not only parrots, but also birds of prey, flamingos, pelicans and various species of mammals, including zebras, camels and ring-tailed lemurs. Visit the website of Zoo Veldhoven for more information.

Accessibility
Zoo Veldhoven is just a 15-minute bike ride from Meerhoven. Since the park is located in a rural area, it is somewhat more difficult to reach by public transport. Bus line 403 (Oerle) will take you in the right direction. Are you coming by car? Then take into account the parking costs of € 4.50 per car. These costs are not included in the price and must be paid on site.

Registration and payment
Would you like to participate in the members day? Please register by Wednesday, June 26, 2024 using this online form. You can pay directly via iDEAL. After registration and payment, we expect you at the entrance of the park (Wintelresedijk 51, 5507 PP Veldhoven) on Sunday, June 30 between 10 am and noon. One of the board members will meet you there. After checking your registration, you will receive a small bag of food for the parrots and a drink voucher per person,. You can stay in the park until 5 pm. Not a member yet? Then please register as a member before completing the form.

Guided tour
For animal lovers, a guided tour starts around 10.30 am with an experienced guide. A maximum of 20 people can participate. The tour lasts about an hour and is mainly intended for people who want to know everything about the animals in the park. For families with small children the tour is less suitable because the patience of the children will be rather tested. The tour is in Dutch, but we will provide a translation into English. You can register for the guided tour via the online form. A few days before the start of the members day, we will let you know to what extent you can participate in the tour or are on the waiting list.
