‘Minister decides on Eindhoven Airport, but not without Eindhoven’
Does the Eindhoven academy actually have an opinion about the further growth of Eindhoven Airport? And does the municipality have anything to say about this at all? The questions asked by local residents on Tuesday afternoon in the town hall to alderman Mary-Ann Schreurs (D66, environment) were not new, but no less difficult.
The afternoon meeting in the town hall about the future of Eindhoven Airport attracted no more than fifty visitors, including many politicians and members of action groups. “Logically, many residents of Meerhoven work,” according to a visitor, Schreurs has now promised that the meeting will soon be repeated in the evenings, at a location near the airport.
