Municipality of Eindhoven: waste dump Meerland did not contain asbestos

In park Meerland in the Eindhoven district of Meerhoven, strangers have dumped six large bags of waste: pieces of corrugated sheet, which show strong similarities with asbestos.

The crammed white bags lay at the edge of a breeding pond in the park, near the Zandstrand / Zandhagedis. According to the municipality of Eindhoven, which had the waste disposed of Wednesday afternoon, it is not asbestos-containing material.
