Nail pooping and egg walking: Fontys students make a ‘nice start’ to their study time

Cycling for miles, performing antics and diving into a tent together at night. The Purple introduction week for students of Fontys Hogescholen started this week in Eindhoven.

In front of the entrance to the tent camp in Park Forum, dozens of nursing students are ready for a bike ride to the IJzeren Man, on the other side of Eindhoven. Stan van der Veeke (24) is leading the way, who will start his fourth year. At the pond, the students, ‘especially the freshmen’, will carry out assignments and also eat together ‘to get to know each other even better’.
