No discussion about the Meerhoven police complex in the city council, Schreurs request rejected
The sounding board group of local residents called in the help of the Eindhoven city council at the end of February 2021, but the arrival of a police complex in Meerhoven is not currently being discussed in the city council. A request for this by council member Mary-Ann Schreurs has been rejected.
By May at the latest, the Municipal Executive wants to take a decision on the construction of a regional complex for the police academy, criminal investigation department, the Mobile Unit, a detention center and a training center with a shooting range. In total, this concerns 2,200 police officers and 700 students.
