Due to a bomb threat in an airplane, air traffic at Eindhoven Airport was halted for hours on Friday, February 24, 2023. The Royal Netherlands Marechaussee secured the situation around 7.15 pm, after which the airport was released and air traffic could be restarted.

Emergency services turned out en masse after the report. The Royal Netherlands Marechaussee conducted an investigation with, among other things, a sniffer dog and the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service (EOD). A Transavia aircraft, the luggage in the plane and the passengers were checked. No particulars were found.
