Outdoor Cinema Meerhoven postponed to September 1

Due to the bad weather forecast, the Outdoor Cinema Meerhoven has been postponed to Sunday, September 1, 2024. Tickets already ordered remain valid. New tickets can still be ordered.

On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Meerhoven and the 10th anniversary of Residents’ Association Meerhoven, the association is organizing an outdoor cinema. Bring your own drinks, snacks and chair or blanket and enjoy the comedy adventure film Jumanji – Welcome to the Jungle. The organization will provide free popcorn and candy floss (as long as supplies last). The film is in English, subtitled in Dutch and suitable for viewers aged 12 and older.

Date
The outdoor cinema was originally scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 24, 2024, but a lot of rain and strong winds are expected that evening. The organization is therefore forced to postpone the event to Sunday, September 1. Unfortunately, it is not possible to postpone it to a Friday or Saturday later this year. The company that provides the film is already fully booked for other events on those days.

Time and location
The film will be shown on the playground of Park Meerland in Meerhoven. Toilet facilities are available. The film starts at 9.00 pm and lasts about two hours. There is no break. Entry from 8.15 pm.
