Sunday, March 5, 2023, the Institute for Nature Education (IVN) organizes a walk through Park Meerland, led by nature guides.
The walk will focus on the early spring. Nature guides tell you which plants, birds and insects can currently be found in the park. They also explain the thinking behind the design of the park, how the water system works and what used to be found in various places in the park. In addition, the participants are introduced to the youngest Arboretum in the Netherlands and the Peace Path.
The walk starts at 10 am from pavilion Mrs Park, Waterfront 402 in Eindhoven. Anyone can join the walk. The walk takes about an hour and a half to two hours and is on unpaved paths that can be wet and slippery. Good footwear is therefore recommended.
