On Saturday, May 11, 2024, the Institute for Nature Education (IVN) is organizing a walk through Park Meerland led by nature guides especially for wheelchair or walker users.

The regular IVN walks are often not entirely suitable for people in a wheelchair or with a walker. On Saturday, May 11, the nature guides want to show that you can also experience nature in Park Meerland from a wheelchair or with a walker. Nature guides explain which plants, birds and insects can currently be found in the park. They also explain the thinking behind the design of the park, how the water system works and what used to be found in various places in the park. In addition, participants are introduced to the youngest Arboretum in the Netherlands and the Peace Path.

The walk starts at 2 pm from pavilion Mrs Park , Waterfront 402 in Eindhoven. There is ample parking here. The walk lasts about an hour and a half and follows well-maintained paths.
