Pedestrians hit by car in Meerhoven, man and woman injured to hospital

Two pedestrians, a man and a woman, were hit by a car on the Grasbaan in Meerhoven on Wednesday morning. They were injured and taken to the hospital.

It is probably a married couple. The husband and wife crossed the road when they were hit. The man was injured in the head, the woman was slightly injured. She was just being hit by the car. Both were conscious after the accident.

The driver was taken to the police station for an explanation. It is not yet known how exactly the accident happened. The police are investigating this.
