A homeless person has been active in Meerhoven for the past few days. It concerns an approximately 45 year old man who rings the doorbells of residents and asks for money. The police has received several reports since 31 May 2021 and advises not to give any money.

The man is tanned, has a full grey beard and often wears a bodywarmer. He asks for money for various reasons. For example, to visit his mother, who is said to live on Zandbloem. The man is known to the police.
