Primary school ‘t Slingertouw discovers ‘forest education’: teaching in nature

Primary School The Slingertouw has discovered ‘forest education’, an English educational movement that propagates teaching in nature.

During a two-day study trip to England, some teachers got acquainted with it for the first time. Last week, the English Dave Churchward (52) taught seven teachers the intricacies. The intention is for those seven to make the rest of the team enthusiastic. The aim: every day there are a few groups from the school that are taught outside. The Slingertouw has 912 pupils.
