Severe traffic nuisance Anthony Fokkerweg from 13 May to 5 July 2019

Due to work on the bridge over the Beatrix Canal, the municipality will close one lane on the Anthony Fokkerweg from FlightForum/Eindhoven Airport in the A2/N2 from Monday 13 May to Friday 5 July 2019.

This closure causes serious traffic disruption and delays, in particular for traffic towards the A2 / N2. The municipality advises to avoid Anthony Fokkerweg (during rush hour) and to follow the diversions.

Background
Due to the increased traffic, the accessibility of Anthony Fokkerweg and the surrounding area has come under pressure. To improve the flow and accessibility of the entire area, the municipality carries out various activities.
