Talk about Eindhoven Airport during meeting in Evoluon
On Thursday, February 28, 2019, the third discussion evening about Eindhoven Airport will take place in the Evoluon.
The meeting is part of the Eindhoven Airport Trial Case, which forms the basis for an advice to the Minister about the future of the airport. This advice will be presented in April. Results from different studies are shared and explained. Residents can join in, ask questions and give their opinion. The meeting starts at 7 pm and lasts until 10 pm. Doors open at 6.30 pm.
Eindhoven Airport after 2020
Eindhoven Airport Trial Case, led by ex-state secretary Pieter van Geel, collects as much information as possible about the airport’s impact on the environment, the effects on health and the consequences for economic development in the region. Local residents, interest groups and companies are involved in an advice to be drawn up about the position of Eindhoven Airport after 2020. At the moment there is still a large survey by the GGD among 6,000 families in which the focus is on experience and health aspects. School students also contributed; four primary schools in the region were allowed to think about what the airport should look like in the future. The opinions of all stakeholders are taken into account.
