Temporary closure of Eindhoven Airport in 2027

In exactly three years, Eindhoven Airport will be closed for five months. Sources around Eindhoven Air Base report this. The closure is estimated to affect around three million travelers and around 17,000 flights.

In recent days it was unclear when exactly work would take place. Both Eindhoven Airport and Eindhoven Air Base did not want to respond to questions about the major renovation of the runway. Eindhoven Airport already reported on Thursday morning that the job will not be carried out before 2027. Sources around Eindhoven Air Base report that work will start in February 2027.
