Traffic disruption and limited bus transportation in Meerhoven during Marathon Eindhoven
The 38th edition of the Eindhoven Marathon will take place on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 October 2022. The course runs along the Noord-Brabantlaan, the Heistraat and the Meerenakkerweg. Car traffic near the Hovenring must take into account short-term closures and diversions. There are diversions and canceled stops on bus lines.
On Sunday 9 October from 8.45 am to 11.45 am, car traffic near the Hovenring must take into account the closure of the lane in the direction of Noord-Brabantlaan. On the Heistraat, only car traffic from the Hovenring to the N2 is possible. The Meerenakkerweg in the direction of Kasteellaan will be closed until approximately 11.45 am. Public transport
The bus timetable has been adjusted on both days. On Sunday 9 October, line 401 will run until 1.30 pm via Kennedylaan and the A2 between Eindhoven CS and Eindhoven Airport. All intermediate stops will be cancelled. Lines 402 and 403 do not run until 1.30 pm. After 1.30 pm, these lines will run according to schedule again, but with a detour via the Ring. Until 7 pm, all stops within the Ring with the exception of Eindhoven CS are canceled for these lines. A modified timetable also applies to other bus lines.
