Tree party in the Arboretum in Park Meerland

Sunday, April 14, 2024 there are several activities in the Arboretum of Park Meerland. Everyone is welcome and can participate for free. At 12 noon, Mayor Dijsselbloem will plant his own mayor tree.

From 11 to 11.45 am and from 1 to 1.45 pm you can participate in a guided tour along the special collection of trees and shrubs in the arboretum. Between 11 and 11.45 am and between 1 and 2.30 pm there is a treasure hunt/discovery tour for children (accompanied by a parent). Every child gets a surprise. You can also help harvest seeds from spent wildflowers at the same times. Tools are available. There is a fruit juice with something tasty for everyone.

Registration
You can register for the activities on the day itself at the tree house of the arboretum.

Location
The arboretum is located on the north side of the park between the Water Lily Pond and the biomass power plant.
