Volunteers wanted for Neighbourhood Watch Meerhoven

As a result of recent incidents in Meerhoven, residents have taken the initiative to start a Neighbourhood Watch.

Earlier this month an introductory meeting took place in Youth Center De Hangar. In order to actually start, at least 50 volunteers are needed. Residents who are interested in being active within the Neighbourhood Watch Meerhoven are asked to send their name, address, telephone number and email address to buurtpreventie@meerhoven.nl. The team is supported by the municipality and the police. Previously, a neighbourhood watch was active in Grasrijk.
