‘Vote for Meerhoven 55 Plus for ING Netherlands fund’

Meerhoven 55 Plus has been selected for a donation from the ING Netherlands fund and calls on all Meerhoven residents to vote.

The ING Netherlands fund was set up to financially support charities in the Netherlands. Five charities are selected per region. This is followed by a voting period in which the amount of the donation is determined by the number of votes. Meerhoven 55 Plus is one of the five selected charities in the Eindhoven region.

Initiatives
Antoon Hermsen, driving force of Meerhoven 55 Plus: “We are very pleased that we have been selected. In our eyes a right decision! We regularly organize meetings, workshops and other activities that are appreciated by many seniors in Meerhoven. We are also involved in new initiatives such as football, singing and powerwalk with Meerhoven Old Stars. And soon we will start an educational afternoon with lectures, books and films.”

Meerhoven 55 Plus calls on all Meerhoven residents to vote. This can be done until Sunday 11 February 2018 via the link www.helpnederlandvooruit.nl/doel/meerhoven-55 -plus (in Dutch).
